The Deck Shoe Redesigned

Some shoes transcend fashion — they’re a memory, a defining symbol of an important time in your life.

For anyone who grew up in the 1980s, Sperry Boat Shoes were a symbol of endless summer days, warm afternoons, and the rebellion of youth that never quite left us.

For me, Sperry Topsiders were a lifestyle.

As a teenager I practically lived in my pair of men’s boat shoes.

They weren’t just footwear; they were the epitome of cool.

They made you feel like the sun shone all day.

The simplicity of their design, and the freedom of going sockless made every day feel like a mini vacation.

Those sailing shoes captured the spirit of optimism, a love for the ocean, AND, who are we kidding, the desire to be a Preppy (go on admit it, you read “The Preppy Handbook” too).

That’s why I decided to bring them back — modernized for the eco-stylish.

I grew up, my deck shoes needed to do the same.

The Timeless Appeal equals eco-style

Canvas boat shoes have always stood out for their versatility.

Originally designed for sailors, these shoes were made to provide grip, comfort, and breathability on deck.

Over time, they became the go-to for casual wearers who wanted to blend effortless style with function.

By the 1980s, they were an icon — a staple of preppy fashion and a symbol of relaxed luxury.

Paired with shorts, polo shirts, or rolled-up chinos, deck shoes offered an aura of confidence.

You never wanted to throw them away; they got better with age.  You owned them until they were threads.

That’s what made them eco-stylish.

Fast-forward to today and that same spirit resonates.

Now we want something that transforms a simple shoe into a personal statement.

We want something with more color than Crocs, Vans, Rockports and Timberlands.  These are fine shoes, but people want art now.

Reinventing a Classic for the Modern Era

When I decided to design a line of modern deck shoes, my goal was simple: to keep what made them great, while injecting them with new life – art-inspired patterns and vibrant colors.

I want to replace fast fashion. I believe in using fashion for years.

I think eco-style should be the joyful expression of individualism.

Every pair blends a nostalgic shape with contemporary creativity.

The canvas remains breathable and durable, the rubber sole offers traction, while the graphic design turns each pair into wearable art.

It’s footwear that allows you to reclaim your childhood and care for the planet.

Style Meets Comfort

Canvas deck shoes have a universal charm fitting effortlessly into any lifestyle.

Whether you’re heading out for a walk along the beach, grabbing coffee downtown, or meeting friends for an evening get-together, they adapt to your mood and outfit.

You can wear them with jeans, shorts, or even casual suits — the clean lines and low profile will always look polished yet relaxed.

Best of all, they embody that sockless joy that made the 1980s unforgettable and rebellious.

They are still the expression of style that basically said to our parents “Gag me with a spoon”.

The Spirit of the Sea

Some styles never go out of fashion — they just evolve.

The ocean has always been part of the deck shoe’s DNA.

My deck shoes still embody that spirit.

They still channel movement, they just do it with more color.

Whether you grew up loving deck shoes, or you’re discovering them for the first time, you’ll find that this collection will connect you to memories.

Order yours today and ignite yours.
